I, as many others here do also, enjoy your "News Photos for Gun Nuts" postings. I have always been curious where/how you find such great photos. Even when I look at the news for an hour, I never see more than 1 or 2 good photos.

Can you let us in on how your rigorous selection process works?

(not trying to steal any of Lumpy's thunder)

He goes right to the sources. Getty Archive, Corvis(sp?) - huge collectors / brokers / resellers of freelance photographers' work.
Much of the media shops their images from these brokers, when they aren't just parroting the feed from Reuters / AP / UPI / AFP etc.
