Yea,  You also need a form certifing that you are a citizen.

It's that easy. and when you get it send a copy to Brownells and get dealers prices!

Yep. That's all there is to it. Don't forget the form verifying you are a citizen. Mine has been sent off for nearly 2 months. I'm still waiting.

Just printed off the citizenship form and made a new envelope...

I really hadn't thought about the C&R FFL for several months, and just tonight I stumbled onto the forms in one of my file cabinets...
Figured I'd fill it out and send them $30 awhile...

Getting the license is the easy part.  Trying to explain why you "need" all of the new toys to the wife is the hard part.

I've found Curio and Relics to be a very dangerous addiction.  In the past year, I have bought or was given:

- Finish M-39
- Model 1903
- Russian Capture Mauser 98k
- SMLE
- Swiss K-31
- Russian 91/30


There are lots of good values out there right now for C+R holders:
- Russian 91/30s that have been arsenal refinished are dirt cheap - around $60
-Yugoslavian SKSs for $120
-Russian Capture 98ks
-Yugoslavian M48 and M48As
-Swiss K-31s

Pick up a copy of Shotgun News and read it cover to cover to get a good idea of what is out there.
