Make sure you get TeamSpeak. Despite the "issues" that are occuring from time to time it is far better than the in game VOIP that I have never been able to get to work correctly. At the very least you can listen in and the "good" guys will announce objectives and keep you abreast of the goings on. It is a small background foot print and well worth it. See the thread about that an xfire to get the step by step.
Don't worry TOO much about the low stats. If that was a problem they would have given me the boot some time ago. I just can't get the time to play enough and have my kids love me, my wife keep me and my boss employ me.  I am doing good to get a hour in every few days and will at this pace never get to 1SG/MSG level. Just have fun and you can learn a lot by getting killed by the guys in this clan.

Thanks guys, that's what I wanted to know. I will set up team speak tonight. It'll be nice to listen for objectives so that I have a job to do instead of running around looking for trouble.

OK,
I've logged about 12 hours this weekend. I hate the artillery. It seems over powered. The air seems to be just about right in terms of power vs. the ability to be handled by defense. In BF1942 I was anti-tank 90 percent of the time so I naturally gravitated toward this. Is there a particular weak point for armor in this version? I did not seem to have the same success aiming at the "weak points" typefied by BF1942. Am I alone in preferring the East Bloc weapons? |

what is this and how can i get involved...im headin to walmart to get Battlefront 2 right now...is the AR15 Clan a special crew online and do yall dominate, cause if so i wanna add to the domination...my friends play this game and say its sick... i play halo 2 religiously and need to find a new online addiction

Yeah, good luck with BATTLEFRONT 2 as it does not workwell (on in my case nearly at all) on dual core processor machines.......YOu think EA is bad about patches.....it has been 4 months for Lucasarts and they STILL have not patched that bad boy so top end machines can play it.  Stick with BF2 and you'll be fine.

I have a dual core Pentium D machine and thankfully, BF2 doesn't seem to care. I am getting fantastic frame rates.
Now all I have to do is get up to speed. |

I think it is better to go for the radar and UAV first and foremost. As a commander, I hate it more when I cant spot the enemy with radar, or deploy the UAV more than I hate not having arty. Hang around the area where that stuff is though, sooner or later a commander will drop a supply crate to heal thier stuff. When that happens, load up on C4, place some on every thing around, load up on C4 from their own crate again, and blow everything up (including the crate).
