I just saw this on Biggerhammer. Posted by John in VA. (not sure if he is a member here)

I had an excellent conversation with the new Quantico Shooting Club manager, John, about arranging the 1000 yard range for 50 cal recreational fire. He is going to verify the procedures that he needs to follow to schedule 50 cal shooting but believes it is as simple as giving Dulles airport 30 days notice. He wants all club members that want to shoot 50 cal at 1000 yards to give him a call at (703) 640-6336 so he can gauge interest. Also, we need to let him know that we want to be able to shoot 50 cal at the 300 yard range during "normal" recreational fire. Our next club meeting is the middle of March. Although the civilian membership is at its limit, current/retired military may be able to join. The Quantico Shooting Club website is
