So today my 16 month old daughter finished her first 4 week Swim class getting her ready for her "drop test" in 2 weeks for Infant Water Survival. Watching her so quickly grasp and learn how to hold her breath under water, learn a very basic swim technique, then flip over to her back to float and scream out and continue to hold the float was really cool.

Since my parental units have a pool, the wife unit (no pictures you bastards) and I agreed that since she will be around water she needs to know how to survive in it and swim.

Fun times I'm having with this awesome little girl.

I have a kiddo who is about to turn 3, he spent his first weekend in the pool a few weeks back with some floaties and a little life jacket and was completely fearless in the water, swimming around like a little torpedo. He had a blast jumping off the edge into the water.
I was especially proud because I nearly drowned myself 3x as a kid and still have a pretty healthy fear of water that has endured to this day.  (his swimming lessons start next week)

Good job, dad!
