On the USA channel at 9:30PM is adverised the movie SIEGE with Bruce Willis and Denzel Washington about a group of terrorists that blow up stuff and people in NYC.
Is this type of movie shown now for the reasons of...
-a reminder of 9/11
-a warning of future events
           
                      OR

-a a glimpse of where the Fed. Gov. will go in order to protect us from the terrorists...

From observation of past and very predictable behavior of government, I would go with #3.
