Just when Austin is a lost cause between the rich liberals, poor hippies and illegals
something always appears to make me believe there is a fifth column alive and well here. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

Most likely it was put there by somebody that lives in Leander or some other city outside Austin.

I went to UT during the Clinton years. I assure you I was no libtard or dirty hippie. There are still a few conservatives in Peoples Republic of Austin.

Austin is and always be the Berkeley of TX...
Larue must have put it there... |

Austin .....
I drove down part of 6th street a few hours ago ...... on an errand The Texas home for basket people and fruit cakes Some already cooked brains and some in the process of cookin' Some will get lucky and escape .... others |

Austin is fun to spend time in, but it'd be fucking hell to live there.

**Update**
Some dirty hippy removed the sticker on the sign. |

It's funny how most of you guys poo-poo Austin. Call it the "berkeley" of Texas. It's nowhere close to Berkeley.
We got a lot of hippies and leftists, but we're nowhere near Berkeley. Bergstrom AFB closed, but Camp Mabry is still here, and I've never heard of any smelly hippies protesting there, or at any military recruiting centers. But I understand. It's easy for simple minds to paint with broad brushes. I've been to all the major cities in Texas, and Austin is still the only one I'd want to live in. |

Quoted: **Update** Some dirty hippy removed the sticker on the sign. My wife made this comment as we're driving through Westlake and seeing a bunch of expensive cars with Obama stickers on them: "Gee - it looks like things are going real bad for those people. I guess they really want Obama to bring some HOPE and CHANGE". |

I have lived in Austin (Travis Heights), my entire life. My neighbors used to be dirty, stinky hippies, and they were the best neighbors you could ask for. They wanted to do their thing, be left alone, and didn't care what you did. Now, they have sold out to a bunch of retards from Kali and New York, who want homeowners associations and want their nose in your business. So, I love dirty stinky hippies. I can't stand posh Kali retards. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

My Mom and Dad were born and raised in Austin (80+ years ago). My Grandfather and Grandmother worked for the Steven F. Austin Hotel for over forty years, he as a bell man and she worked the cafe. My other Grandfather was an insurance salesman there after retiring from the Texarkana police force. My Dad drove a dump truck around Austin after he retired from the Navy.
My Dad says "Everybody that lives north of the Colorado are Yankees. Anybody that lives north of Dallas is a Damned Yankee" Mom and Dad still live in the Austin area, he in Oak Hill and she in Buda. I'll assure you that they are not liberals by any interpretation of the word. |

I'm heading to Austin this Thursday through Saturday for a wedding. I guess its not the best place to get your first view of central texas.
TBH, I doubt it can/will be as bad as Boulder Colorado though. |
