The promotion came a little ahead of grade so it was a nice suprise for me. Taking over my unit is icing on the cake. Only mild negative is that I have been advised I would be catching about half of the I/A cases now but that is no biggie, we don't have many Deputies who screw the pooch too bad. I do hope to be able to get back out to Patrol after a while though. Leading a squad has always been a big goal of mine. I had a milestone not too long ago, I had been in Investigations an equal amount of time as I had been on patrol (a little less than 5 years in each). It is time to get back on the skreetz! Anyway, thanks again!
