Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Progress check on NFA paperwork?

Hi guys,
Sent my form 4 off Friday. How do I check the progress of this NFA paperwork? I read somewhere about people speaking with case managers, etc..., but I can't remember where I saw it. Any ideas? Thanks,

Your check should clear the bank in a week and a half. Then at about 1 month in, the status should show pending, while the ATF waits for the FBI background check. Unless you checked the box on the form 4 allowing the buyer/transferee to check on status ATF is not supposed to release the information to you but only to the seller/transferor.  Sometimes they will but always check that box.

Thanks guys.  I didn't know about the box on the form 4, man that sucks [banghead]. I guess it doesn't really matter though, it'll take as long as it takes.  Regards,
