Our toilet was leaking at work.  The seals were old and were going to get cited for water waste by the city.  So somehow I was elected to replace the guts of the toilet.  Everything went fine and everything works like its supposed to BUT.  The water level in the bowl is low.  It flushes ok and functions fine. But the standing water in the bowl is right at level where it starts to narrow.

Is this a problem?  If so how can I fix this?

Thanks!

There should be a flexible tube from the valve that dumps a little water down the ~1" tube standing in the middle of the tank.  That adds a bit of water to the bowl while the tank is filling.  It sounds like that wasn't replaced.

If you used a fluidmaster, you can adjust the height.  Read the directions on the package.  There are even pikhers if you don't reed so gud..
