Gonna sound like a dumb question but I am completely ignorant on how this works........

How do the foreward vertical grips attach to M4 Handguards?

I just bought one of these for my M11/9 that I have on transfer and want to add the foreward grip.

You will need a bolt on picatinny rail such as the one sold by Advanced Armament.
