Reports reaching Kolkata on Saturday said Rajdip Singharoy of Bhandarhati village in Hooghly district had to be hospitalised in a critical condition after headmistress Gouri Mukherjee "taught him a lesson" for his poor homework. She first hit him with a wooden ruler and then hit him on the private parts. The boy, a Class II student, lost consciousness and had to be admitted to the village hospital. A complaint was lodged against the teacher who later apologised. Local people and the boy's parents have demanded her arrest. |

Ok. I believe in school discipline, but discipline does not cause permanent injury. An adult kicking a kid in the grapes is just downright horrific. Sounds like the principal is a sicko and is in need of some .45 caliber magik. |

Kind of reminds me of a show about American Samoa and their football players. They were talking to the principle of a school and during the conversation he saw some boys who skipped the day before. For punishment he didn't send them to class, he got out some machete's and told them to go clear a large hill by hand
