Well, I don't know about her Lustful thinking(Because you know thinking about the U.S. falling gives Democrats moist genitalia!) but there would be a lot of casualties for us, they like Human Wave attacks, they have a developed military, thanks to the Russians and Chinese and of course good old U.S of A selling them some of our own weapons.
Our equipment in Iraq is wearing out fast, Figuring for about 4 times the operating tempo compared to peacetime and some of them are way past needing Depot level Maintnance, but are still running due to field expediency. I hate to say it but due to Bush's Iraq policy once we are done there it will take a couple decades to replace the worn out equipment we would need to stand up to an actual military contingency created by another country. |

Human wave attacks? Are you kidding me? How'd that work for them in the Iran/Iraq war? 10 years they went at it and it was a stalemate. It took three weeks to own Iraq this last time and a ground assault of 100 hours to route them out of Kuwait. Iraq had a very modern military as well. Human wave atttacks would be met with plane loads of cluster bombs, C-130 Specter gunships, and B-52 strikes. Let's not forget the artilery fired cluster munitions. The casualties would be horrific for the side that isn't wearing the Star's and Stripes on it's uniform. |

Uhhhhh yeah OK whatever. Trident launched tomahawks will kill the missile sites for starters. Iranian allies will back the hell away. China will stay out of it and keep selling us cheap trinkets whilst protesting in the U.N. Like I'vve said here before, it's important we destabilize the internal gubment of Iran and throw a bunch of political chaos there BEFORE we do anything. Make their currency worthless on the world market, interrupt their trade routes, fook with their IT/communication infrastructure and state run media. They got plenty of young 'uns there ready to eatup any bad propaganda we can throw at them. In fact, Israel will probably beat us to it. |

Speaking of Iran....
Today in Israel (among all the other goings on) a very interesting appointment was made. Major General Amos Yedlin was appointed as Chief of the Intelligence Branch. Kind of went unoticed. You should read up on this guy. Battle tested fighter pilot, been in or commanded most every tip of the spear fighter unit in the IDF, was head of planning and doctrin for the IDF, was the Attache of IDF in Washington, he is Harvard educated Oh, and on a final note he was one of the pilots on the raid that destroyed the Iraqi reactor. Seems an like interesting resume
