A friend of mine was squatting 500# a couple of days ago at my gym and projectile vomited all over the mirror in front of him and the floor. Then finished his reps. Just saw the video this morning.

Not sure if it's "Muscle Beach" but when I worked in CA back in the '80's, a friend and I went to Venice Beach on a Sunday afternoon. It was like going to a circus for free! The workout guys had a cyclone-fenced enclosure, just off the beach, with a small shed for their equipment. Locals were sitting out on their decks and the air had a definite pot smell. Musicians performing with a coffee can for tips, same for a sword-swallowing guy. The people in the crowd were equally interesting.
