Potentially the greatest 8 seconds of video you will see the rest of the day
They don't load up the short bus and take you guys out much, do they |

I heard that the Canadian CF-18s were actually built by Norinco in China.

I was totally expecting a homespun porn featuring the OP with a total run time of 0:08. Not sure if disappoint.

I take it you're at a CFL game?
Pretty impressive attendance. I didn't think the CFL was all that popular. |

They were making FLYING SAUCERS for the USAF all the way back in the 50's before it all got black-budgeted, and got put under the mountains around Area 51 and S4... |

CF-18 Flyover, September 6th McMahon Stadium, Calgary Alberta. Fuck me I need a new camera. This 480P bullshit is garbage. ETA - this jet represents about 1.35% of our total CF-18 jets. How fucking sad is that? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M7kU4wkOlgw That was a low pass? Jeez, if he'd lost both engines he had enough altitude to glide to Easter Island. |

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NgZU-AmnkQg The ones at the GT game were grounded for flying that low then lying about it. |

Bitchin' now I want a jet just so I can do that.
Also, this beats the pants off of the rest: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ONtPj8KVj3k |

Well, if they only have a couple left, I guess I can see why they might be afraid to fly them low.

Quoted: canadians are an easily excited people, aren't they? I only get to see one flyover a year, and this was that day. Don't be hatin'. |

TCU at Navy has to be the best. The shot from the press box shows that the F/A-18 was AT the height of the press box.

I've been at 2 really good ones.
One was a B1-B at a 4th of July parade in Watertown, SD. The plane came right along the main parade route. I'm betting they made a circuit of small town parades that afternoon all over the state. The horse people were not particularly amused. Turns out horses don't much care for having jets buzz them, then add in startled riders... I didn't see any riders hit the deck, but I saw some kids on ponies looking pretty shook up. The other one that sticks out in my mind was the Supercross World Finals out in Vegas about 5 or 6 years ago. I could see a pair of F-18's kind of circling in the distance, then the National Anthem starts, and I can see them start their approach. As they are getting closer, they are really dragging ass to get the timing right. It was one of those nose up, plowing air things. Then, just as the anthem is wrapping up, and with perfect timing, "...of theeeeee braaaave." they hit the afterburners and just roar right overhead, nice and low over the stadium. It was just awe-inspiring. |
|
I was hoping to see a 8 second video of some nice Canadian titties...

Quoted: That was awesome. Flew into the stadium, and then out of the stadium. Crazy. If somebody got in trouble for the one earlier in the thread, I'm pretty sure this guy got some flack. Way cool, though. Quoted: TCU at Navy has to be the best. The shot from the press box shows that the F/A-18 was AT the height of the press box. Psh.
