Never linked pics before, I hope it works!

Tyler, what exact breed of pit is yours? I see pits come in different shapes, sizes and mixes and I like the body structure of the one you have the best. Is it an American Pitbull? Stratfordshire Terrier? Other?

Thanks to all of you for sharing your pet pics!  You all have some really wonderful, well-cared for pets out there! [beer]

As for your question, ArmaLiter, there is only one type of Pit Bull, and that is the American Pit Bull Terrier (ADBA registered ONLY!).  Anything else is just a sad imitation.  [;)]

If you want to learn more about the real American Pit Bull Terrier, go here.

Sure hope so, Tyler, as my girl Dresden is my car alarm for the long strange cross country trip.
I really wouldn't feel good about leaving the van unattended for food stops, etc., with guns on board, without her there to guard it. The other 3 will be at home, watching the house, and protecting the house sitter.
I keep hearing that this is a "family" event, and folks will be encouraged to bring their kids.
Hopefully well trained dogs will be allowed, as they would be a whole lot less trouble than some people's kids, lol!
Besides, she IS like a kid to me, and a lot cleaner and better mannered than my sons were when they were small.
Plus.....she loves guns. [:D]

Dalee sure looks great!  Maybe in another year or so she and Debo could meet for...

Anyway, is she registered with the ADBA?  Are you interested in breeding her?

Link Posted: 3/7/2002 12:44:29 PM EDT
[#31]
Actually, we had her fixed!  I've never really been into breeding.  Her doggy dad and doggy mom have gotten together twice, for two batches of pups.  Dalee was from the first batch.  Her father and mother are registered, but the owners of the mom, don't have her papers.  We know she is full bred, and it's not that important to us.  She's a great dog and that's all that matters to us!

If she wasn't fixed, Debo sure would be a perfect match for her though!

I am glad you did the right thing, jboze. If I were not planning on breeding Debo I would have him fixed as well.

They just look like a natural "pair", - that's why I asked. And of course you are right; the fact that she is such a great dog is ALL that matters. [beer]

Be careful that you say about GOATS around here [;)] GoatBoy may hear you... LOL
