With all of the threads on weight loss/ wanting to lose weight I wanted to see if we could motivate some people with some pictures of it getting done.
After posting pics, brief summary of what you did to get there. I cut out carbs, refined sugar , and fried food coupled with an exercise regimen that started out just walking for an hour and doing push-ups in between songs on my iPod. First day I did 50 push-ups. Last day I was on the rig I did 1000 in the one hour walk. I now do 1000 crunches, 100-200 push-ups every day and work out with alternative weights( chains, sledge hammers, steel rods, etc) 325 Lbs ![]() 195lbs ![]() Alternative work out weight ![]() ETA- Took me a year to lose 130 pounds and I have kept it off for over a year. |

Thank you everyone.
Now those of you who have dropped a person in weight post your pictures. You know you have them ![]() I know you don't like looking at pictures of yourself where you look like you have eaten a dwarf, but if you can help out your fellow ARFCOMMERS with pictures of your results, do it! BTW, don't let the age thing be an excuse. I was 48 in the first picture. Turned 50 this year. |

Took me about 8 months to lose the first 80....took another year to get the 20 after that...

Good job to the guys who were willing to share photos.
Food is generally the hardest part for most people, simply because it needs to be a lifestyle not a diet. |

OP and Voodoochile look amazing. I still have a ways to go to look "normal" but you two guys look like you've been fit your whole lives and y'all ain't no spring roosters either.
Thanks for making this thread OP. I needed the motivation and this really lit a fire under my ass to get back on it |

Wow, great job times 3.
![]() No pics, but I dropped from a 32" pushing 33" waist in pants to a 31" sometimes 30" size in the last year. I was trying to lower cholesterol by changing just one meal a day (lunch) and walking the dog more. The weight loss was a surprise. And great. I was by no means big before, but the loss makes me more comfortable in my clothes. |

Sorry dude, that picture is no where near 6.6% body fat and I am calling BS on it. That pic is somewhere around 13-16% bodyfat. View Quote Didn't help I was ghostly pale white in the sunlight.
