I was young when the ban was put into affect and I have no clue how low hi-cap AR mags were pre-ban times. Can any of you old timers hat
So far i've found:

$10 used GI each on gunBroker
$17 new on Brownells
$12-20 on Ebay

And on a side note, today I cut off my Wilson Combat fakeass flash hider, installed a GI birdcage, and swapped my fake collapasable stock for a real one. I kind of felt bad cutting the $20 part in two, but it was worth it. It was kind of like a rebirth of a rifle.

Thanks, I was just checking that too. I guess I should restate my question.. does anyone think prices will get LOWER in the next months? Like $5 for a new mag?

I doubt it'll get to $5, but tapco has LE mags for $12. I got a few, just to say I have them.

ETA:
I lied, they're out of stock now

Brownells mag bodies are out of spec from others I have talked to, stick to the true spec Mags.

Are there any 20-rounders out there?

ammoman.com has mags but I don't think he's gonna sell many untill the glut is over. His prices seem a bit steep right now with all these better deals out there.

I've been buying used 30 rounders at the funshows here for $12 for some time now.

I have: Colt (or a damn good reproduction of-they have all the same tooling marks as the one that came with my HBAR and they work perfectly), Sanchez Enterprises and Ray Industries. The guys selling them are usually great-they've let me go through all the cases they had behind the table looking for the exact ones I wanted.

I have a few UK 30 rounders I paid $19 for (Indian money-I didn't mind)

And YES, I've been burned and learned the hard way on "plain label" 20 and 30 rounders. I don't buy mags anymore unless I recognize the name.

I have no "USGI" mags but I've seen them at the funshows-priced considerably more than the brands I mentioned previously-and I see nothing special about them. If I saw them for $12 I'd buy some and try them, too.
