Impressive. Do you have any Lugers you are still trying to hunt down to buy, or have you got all the different variations you'd want in your collection?

Impressive! How long have you been collecting? |
|
This is why I can't find a good Luger.
Spread the wealth greedy |
|
People with that many Lugers have issues.
I like people with those kind of issues |
|
I know where you can pick up Joachim von Ribbentrop's personal Luger.
30k It would be a nice addition. No collection is complete without it. |
|
To keep the theme from the other thread.....where did you get all those Ruger MKl's?
You have a very, very nice collection! |

No wonder Germany lost WWII. You stole all their guns! |

Does Der Fuhrer know you live in the Republik of Illinois?
Seriously sweet collection! |

If you're ever broke, you can hock a Luger. That made me do the laugh |

Quoted: There are a few that if I came across them for a decent price I would consider. But I now have them from 1900 to 1942 production some of the WWI vintage I have in DWM and Efurt. At one time I was going to collect all years and dates, but that is a daunting task to complete. I also got hung up on P38's 1911's and PPk's as well as other small pistols from that era. I foresee these all going up for sale within the next 15-20 years.Impressive. Quoted: I shoot the mismatched guns from time to time. The others are far too valuable to take a chance on breaking a part.Do you ever shoot them? |

Quoted: Say you have a 95% 1906 American Eagle that would sell for $3,500 all matching. Damage the breech block and you now have a $800 parts gun.Quoted: Quoted: I shoot the mismatched guns from time to time. My favorite one I would have to say is the Baby Luger I had made. A very talented smith cut the one round length out of the frame of a standard commercial model then welded it back together. The barrel was shortened to 3" and the front sight attached. Another very talented person cut the grips in two and dove tailed them back together so perfect you can barely tell it was done. Then our own Thor put as near as an original rust blued finish as DWM did.
So which one is your favorite? http://i178.photobucket.com/albums/w260/lugerman_album/luger/babyleft.jpg http://i178.photobucket.com/albums/w260/lugerman_album/luger/babyright.jpg That's just precious. |

Quoted: I have dealt with Bob Simpson a time or two, but never on Lugers. He asks a premium over and above they are truly worth. I paid $350-400 on average for 80% of the ones I own.I'll bet you know the guys at Simpson's LTD |
