So the dry run went OK - the concept works, but the regions were not properly defined. So here are the rules. Vote for the region you deem to be the best place to live in the US. The criteria are freedom and quality of life. Use the attached map to determine the appropriate region. The NEXT poll after this will break the winning region down by state, to determine the best state to live in. From there, we might even look at some demographics at the best place to live in that state. WE ARE GETTING BETTER AT THIS.

This should be helpful to New Yorkers asking in this forum, as well as others.

Poll closes at exactly 17:00 EST on Jan 19.

No matter how we cut the poll up, I'm pretty sure south-eastern is going to win.

poll fail, should be mountain west.

Ok, no way we get lumped in with Commifornia.

Make one more Region: The Left Coast.

SE for me but this poll and map is BS. Needs more division.

Reading (and or scrolling) is for fags, so I voted mid western based on what I believed to be the mid west.

The left coast should be its own region.  Ca, Or, and Wa.

Since when isn't Kansas considered Midwest?

Your geographic bias offends me

KY doesn't seem very Midwest to me, but I'll run with your layout.  Of the regions you identified, I like South Central.  Golf coast up to Ozarks, it's got Oklahoma and Texas in there, I'm good with it.

Why are you so bad at this?

My suggestion from the other thread.

West coast
Northwest
Mountain region
Southwest
Southern plain
High plains
Midwest
Southeast
East coast
Northeast

You didn't provide a map

It does not matter.

People want to drill down to state. Not region. the only reason we even need this poll first is because there aren't 50 options.

Missouri is not the Midwest?

Fuck. I voted wrong then.

South Central Region for me then.
