We have the players.  The Governor, herself a lifelong Democrat.  The Mayor, a RECENT Democrat (since 2002).  A US Representative Republican who is still friends with the Mayor and a former opponent to Governor Blanco's run.Jindal-Blanco runoff

When you wash the mud and feces off this story, it comes down to pure politics.  Nagin and Jindal are not well liked by the governor.  So be it BUT DO NOT LET THE PEOPLE OF LA SUFFER FROM YOUR DAMN POLITICS!

And the national Dummycrats need to BACK THE FUCK OFF.  Nothing good can come from stirring the shit-pot.

New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin crossed party lines Monday and endorsed Republican Bobby Jindal for governor.

"Bobby Jindal understands that all of Louisiana benefits from and needs a strong New Orleans," Nagin said. With Jindal as governor, "New Orleans and the rest of the state will be partners, not adversaries - which is critical because we can only move this state forward together."

Pollster Verne Kennedy surveyed voters on the possible impact of Nagin's endorsement of Jindal prior to its announcement.

"It will be a positive among white voters in the New Orleans area, but a negative among North Louisiana whites," Kennedy said. "North Louisiana doesn't know Nagin. They think of him as just another black New Orleans mayor."

Did anybody watch Fox news tonight… they reported the Governor (not FEMA) for several days denied access to the Superdome to the Red Cross because she did not want to make it a magnet for more refugees. This was confirmed by the Red Cross.

It is beginning to be clear any major hold ups in aid to New Orleans are the direct result of Governor Blanco’s inability to give up control to both Federal AND City officials... or simple political pettiness on her part.

As much as I hate to say it… it appears even when Nagin finally did decide to react she tied his hands as best she could and even denied him support and assets.

If someone goes down hard over this it is going to be her.

Well, Blanco is AGAIN stepping in on Mayor Nagin, saying he has no power to evict the stragglers.

Blanco will slide because she has deep roots in the Dummycrats where Nagin's are very shallow.  The Dummycrats are blaming the Federal Republicans and will offer Mayor Nagin's head on a silver platter.

Now the carpet-bagging, shit-pot stirring Dummycrats need to BACK THE FUCK OFF.  This is a STATE PROBLEM.

And the gag order on the LANG, FROM THE GOVERNOR, just confirms it is all the fault of the Governor.  General Honore would LOVE to talk about it but he knows what happened to General Douglass MacArthur with President Truman.

But the icing on the cake is the Governor's gag order on the LANG.  You can see it in General Honore's eyes.  He is PISSED.

From looking at the law it appears this was always the Governor’s game. And she stupidly trapped herself today.

It appears Mayor Nagin did not have total authority to evacuate the city before the storm.

And the Governors action today by stopping the Mayor from evacuating the city now has highlighted the fact it was HER that failed to act before the storm.
