I see lots of underfolder Polish AKMS kits still around.
But no fixed stock Polish AKM kits. Anyone know of some in stock? Polish trash cans are my favorite. Attached File Attached File These are not my trash cans. |

You can always get a Polish AKMS kit, sell the UF trunnion and stock assembly, and replace it with a fixed stock trunnion and stock of your choice.

Also, what's the word on the new Polish barrels coming out of the Radom factory?
They're chrome lined, hammer forged barrels. But the kits I've seen that included them don't seem to sell very quickly. |

Nice AK though http://i1206.photobucket.com/albums/bb448/sydney7629/IMG_2338_zps2d96b8e3.jpg View Quote The Polish made the prettiest AK's. Then the Russians. There's just something about their wood furniture. |

I love my Polish underfolding trashcan. Built on an NDS-1P receiver with an all matching unissued kit and original barrel.

Atlantic Firearms makes a nice Polish AK. Unfortunately, most of the parts kits ran out last year and they had to start using more new parts. Still gets great reviews...

I've been kicking around building an AK for 12 years now... question, where can I find an underfold kit, and why is an undesirable to a fix stock?
NM... $389 ish + receiver + barrel +. + +.... better to buy complete now |

I also have a VZ-61 armorer's kit, including the 5 barrels that were missing from the imported kits due to the barrel ban. I waited 1 1/2 years checking every day when Czechpoint USA would get them back in stock so I could buy the 5 barrels.
I also have 2 CZ-52 kits. Rest of the pictures here: https://www.ar15.com/forums/t_1_5/1776629_VZ_61_and_CZ_52_Armorerandapos_s_Kits_Pictures.html |

IIRC, there were at least 2 variations of contents. The boxes have a lead seal so I don't know what's in mine (3 or 4 kits). Some people parted out the kits but most are keeping them as collectors pieces. http://i959.photobucket.com/albums/ae77/pigs201/armorers%20kit_zpsezc1nwz0.jpg http://i186.photobucket.com/albums/x309/scottmn_photo/items/polearmkit_zps6rpefsp2.jpg If you google, there are a lot of pictures out there. ETA: I placed an order for more kits but the order was cancelled. Vector used to build Polish underfolders but many also had some Bulgarian parts mixed in. The ones I bought were parkerized with polymer furniture. They would look better with original furniture and the proper finish, but you would need the proper parts count to do that. Too bad about the barrel ban. That made things more difficult. |

Very nice! Was that an original barrel kit? How does it shoot? I'm assuming that you swapped out the gas piston to keep the original wood. Was this difficult? I've got to make an order from Curtis this week. I need rivets and a couple 922r parts. |
