Curtis Wilson says the car has been taken offline as a patrol vehicle and is being transitioned to something the department can use for educational purposes. Wilson says a sound system has been added to the car as well as the rims, but he says those things get the attention of children so deputies can teach them about the dangers of drugs and other risky behaviors. According to Wilson, the department has been able to re-purpose the vehicle through confiscated drug money, not tax dollars.  |

They donk'd out a cop car, well not like its Neva been dun befo.
One of the local PDs around here had a BMW and an Excalliber they paint up in cop car colors. They even used the BMW for patrol. |

Ah stealing money from citizens. The war on drugs is a failure. In high school and freshman/sophomore/junior year of college it was easier to get weed than beer.

Unless the perp stole the money from someone confiscating it and spending it for your own purposes is nothing short of theft. And if the perp stole it then at least make an honest attempt to return it.
If a fucking McDonalds employee can do it, then so can the cops. And for fuck's sakes LEO's, we've supported all of you throughout the Ferguson thing, help us out here.
