 Who writes this stuff? www.ketv.com/news/10181987/detail.html Police Surround Midtown House, Shoot Dog OMAHA, Neb. -- Omaha police said they had surrounded a house at 49th and Hickory streets on Saturday afternoon. Police said they initially got a call regarding a possible hostage situation there. Just after 5:30 p.m., two people came out of the house and paramedics put one of them on a stretcher. Four people are in police custody. The Humane Society is also at the scene, officials said, because officers had to shoot a pit bull. |

One of them came out of the house and was put on a stretcher. I guess walking the rest of the way to the ambulance was just too difficult. |
