Guys hands are up, send in the dog. Stand around while dog eats perp. No problem here. They probably did that so if the perp hurt their dog they would of had an excuse to ventilate him.

Just goes to show ya,....if you can get a grand jury to convict a ham sandwich, you can get them to do just about anything.

What a load of shit. Dude had his hands up. There was absolutely no reason to send the dog on him other than to inflict injury for revenge or just shits and giggles.

Cop needs fired.

You know when a video comes out like this, and the police clear the police of any wrongdoing, based on an "investigation" conducted by the police and evidence collected by the police........

Let's just say it's not hard to see why police face growing challenges where public trust is concerned.

If the perp is sitting there with his hands up, that's NOT the time to sic an attack dog on him.  Not if you want people to trust you, that is.

If you want them to fear you, it'll work, but that has unintended consequences like everything else.

Apparently you know more than the Jury who had all the facts, and relevant caselaw presented to them.

Carry on with your opinion based on 2 minutes of video and a couple of newspaper articles.  <SMH>

The perp was clearly agitated, having just been involved in a police chase, so the officer put a therapy dog on his lap to calm him down.

So is it still TBL when a jury clears the officer of wrongdoing? I'm confused.
Link Posted: 12/13/2013 3:02:47 PM EDT
the "jury" cleared the son of a bitch?   They need a new jury system.  I wonder how they pick the juries.

From just watching that video, string 'em up.

However, given the fact that a jury found him not guilty, I'm going with "there's more to the story" for $1000, Alex.
