Supposedly this is from up in the NWT, I gotta believe it's the real deal.
The guy survived the bear attack. The bear jumped on him while he was sleeping in his tent and he managed to get it off of him and shoot it. He's one lucky SOB, but you know that he's hurting really bad.         |

Those pictures have been around for a while (the last two of the guy), but I never knew the background story or even saw pics of the bear.
That ankle has gotta hurt. |

Damn...those are fairly old pics. I remember seeing the one of the attack victim back in April of 2006 in my NSTC. (North Slope Training Classes)
I guess they figured they needed to throw a good scare into us all to convince us not to pet the Polar Bears. |
