I came across 4 mags all 30rd. all new 2 adventureline, 1 cooper, 1 okay. I can't locate any markings or stampings that would indicate when they were made. Should there be markings on all mags?    Thanks Rabon.

Rabon,
I am not sure when your mags were made either. I ran across a deal on some Center Industries mags I bought from a guy that the crates were marked 3/91 and 8/93 and they did not have any date markings on them either. It might be just a hit or miss type deal. Your guess is as good as mine.

Date stamps on USGI mags will be on the side of the magazine body itself, about 1 1/2" up from the baseplate. If there are no dates, or dates prior to 9/94 than you are good to go.

Date stamps were not often used before the Sept. '94 ban. Afterwards, the dates were required by law.

No dates= pre-ban.
