No, not really, but a rest would be nice.

Got laid off last fall. Was doing ok drawing un-employment from Washington till early this year. About the same time it ran out, My Jeep started breaking down culminating with a transmission failure (had just paid the last payment). Well, after my last $1,800 for a tranny, new clutch parts, and labor. I was pretty tapped out. I am now drawing un-employment from Iowa which is only $292 a week.

Last night my transmission failed again, yes the two month old one. I took my Jeep to Aamco to start with. They wanted $1,200 for a reman tranny alone. I found a rebuilt AX15 at Phoenix Hard Parts With what the Aamco guy said was the same warranty for $750 and went with that. He bought the transmission and added that to the bill.

Well, now that I am having problems, and look at the warranty, it covers a replacement tranny. No shipping ($150), or labor. The guy at Aamco is saying he does not think Aamco will honor the labor warranty because of it not being the normal company they get rebuilts from.

Not sure what will end up happening with it, but its gonna cost me a bundle. Probably $750 minimum  [:(]
