A friend of mine from England is a reenactor and has been featured on many History Channel shows.

They go to Normandy in full kit and pay tribute to the men who gave everything...

The quotes on the pics are his...


Dog White Sector, 07.10am, 6th June. This is me saying a silent prayer to the fallen (I didnt know I had this pic taken of me!)


We then marched from Omaha Beach to Longueville (over 15km) in full kit.

I am on the far right on this pic (with the BAR belt)..

Didn't you do a large reinactment post awhile back? If that was you post a link to it. Either way very awesome on this one. Someday I'll visit Normady myself.

Do you have more pics of the vets? My grandfather-in-law was there. Cool old guy from the 101st.
