Here's a few pics I took in and around Lafayette, LA after Gustav. I'll post the damage/prep pics first, with a few others at the end.  a building across the street from my ambulance station  this is next door to the first building posted. A couple pics from the Sonic next door. Amazingly, they were re opened the next day, once they had power back.     And now for some pics from around town, shot from a moving ambulance.        Alright, and now for some fun stuff. Raindrops during the hurricane:       And, a little experiment..who says you can't shoot HDR hand held?

high dynamic range, its a combination of three or more pictures with different exposures sort of merged together. |

Ok, let me rephrase that: Translation, please, so that my 14 year old son can explain it to me.... That last one is a great pic BTW, even if I don't have a clue how you took it. |
