This is by far the smoothest shooting pistol I have ever shot!

OTD price was: $800.00

I'm in love with it now.

I love the 226, but  I still hate DA/SA transitions.

If it was a single trigger pull every time, I'd still carry one.

Nice pickup, glad you like it!

Non-threaded barrel?

Why do you hate freedom?

You need a drop leg holster and to start calling everything "kit" now.

Sig 226's are just great guns.

Nice looking gun, OP.  I'd like to have one of those.  I want a couple more Glocks first, but after that, this is on the short list.

It's a great gun, and you got a killer price.  I think I laid $950 for mine.

Wise choice.

The only small downside is they take their own holster due to the 1913 rail.
Other than that, great pistol!

Do you now self-identify as a MK25 P226?

The 18 round mags are great.

I am not a fan of the 20 round mags. They have too much jiggle. What is good to see boobs do is not so good for gun parts to do.

Love 226 however I do not shoot the non-beaver tails that well.  No idea why.

With tail...

I'd like to try one of those one day. My 226 is an earlier model without the 'tail and while I shoot it well, my 1911 type thumb placement ensures I defeat the slide stop every time.

They're very nice. Have you tried the 226 Elite SAO? Now that's a smooth shooter.

This is probably my favorite of my 226's.  I recently used it for a 2 day, 3000 rd handgun course it it was 100%.  Many many times I have lusted over a 9mm 1911 and always go back to my 226 SAO.

Only thing that is different is the safety/carry in condition 1

It is a pleasure to shoot.

I found a pic (apparently the only one I have) of mine. Picked it up in 2013.

$800 is a great price. I thought mine was a steal at $849 through Bud's make an offer. I also dig the FDE finish; I wanted mine in that color but they didn't have the make an offer price on it and I wasn't going to pay the money for the difference.

If you think that you're in love and that its smooth now, put a short reset trigger in it. I put Hogue Piranha grips on mine, might look nice with your FDE color scheme.
