1. Eric Bana

2. Ewan MacGregor

3. Christian Bale

4. Jude Law

Make your pick!!

Now with Remington Steel gone, booted in fact, there is a need for a new 007..personally, I would like to clone Sean Connery, but that's against International Law..

None of the 4 listed even come close.
none can carry off the coolness required of James Bond, 007.
Clive Owen is the only main stream British Actor who can pull it off.
The man has done some amazing work, is old enough (most of the actors listed are simply too young to pull off a CDR in Her Majesties Navy)
Watch Croupier or check out the BMW films some time.
Clive Owen is perfect.

Good actor.
he can do humor, but he has the dark edge which is critical for James Bond.

The only one that belongs on that list is Christian Bale.  The rest of them can go be in Fast and the Furious 14.

Clive Owen, no question about it.  My original vote was Hugh Jackman but he turned down the part.

First the Fight Club thread, now this...you need to quit saying things I'll agree with word for word!

I say none of the above in the poll - all the answsers are a joke. Bale, mayyyyyyybe, but he can't be Batman, Bruce Wayne, and James Bond!

Well...if all the answers are a joke...then come up with your own goddamn list...

As for Owen...if I would have heard of the fucker and seen something he's in, maybe I would have added him...

You left out Daniel Craig, who according to the news today is at the top of the list. And Clive Owen was mentioned as a contender for the role as was Jude Law. No Eric Bana.

Jude Law had his chance, he failed.  He can't carry a movie.  Good actor, does good work with small pieces, but he can't carry a movie.

As for Daniel Craig, he's too, fucking...Blond!
No blond bonds, we tried it once, didn't work.

I don't think we have a lot of say in the matter. Craig is studio front-runner. I'm sure they will do something about the hair to make him match Flemming's description.

Hollywood doesn't listen to the fans, it listens to the accountants. There are more than enough people out there that will go see any movie that has good special effects and hot chicks to offset any loss that they would see from us diehard Bond fans that want to see Connery cloned. I don't like it anymore than any other Bond fan, but facts are facts. Hollywood sucks.

Sadly, given the current state of crap from hollyweird, that's as good a guess as any.

Think GI Jane.
Or Glenn Close (?) as the next President in the upcoming TV show.
