I saw a pic on here a few weeks ago of some sort of manly RV that had 8 giant wheels and looked to be about 20 feet tall, I lost the link to the thread though? Can anyone tell me th thread, or at least show me the pic. Thanks.

Now we really have to worry about the Soccer Moms!

That's interesting, but no, the one I'm talking about was an 8 wheeler (giant wheels) RV, and it was appeared to be a real photograph of a real vehicle.

Maybe the German Armored vehicles they used in BHD? I thinks they are called "Fuchs".

This was in a post, on the AR15 board somewhere, I'm sure of it. It was a giant offroad RV. I'm not crazy!

That is the strangest looking contraption I have ever seen. It even beats the enterprise thingy a few days ago. Just what purpose are those wheels about 1/3 of the way back doing anyway? Bizaare.

could he be talking about some sort of unimog?
Link Posted: 1/27/2002 7:40:22 PM EST
No, it's not a unimog, it looked like this:

It wasn't this thing, was it? It was mentioned in that post about diesel trucks. (Even though I don't think it's a diesel.) http://www.maximog.com/

What I saw was close to this: except it had a little narrower wheels (like the ones you'd find on a large road grading machine), it was green, and it looked more like an RV on steroids than a Bus on steroids.

I don't think it's the HEMTT (Heavy Expanded Mobility Truck - Tactical). I think he's referring to some of the German vehicles. I've seen those with radar platforms and antannae masts. Very bulky, very cool looking.
