Its been awhile since I've had a physical done. (Years) Is there a list of what they check? I'm having one done tomorrow and was just wondering how long one takes.

* fill out pre-check questionnaire (health history) * open hood, radiator cap etc. (say "ahh", ears, nose check) * check fluids (blood, urine) * run basic engine diagnostic (heart/breathing sounds) * pressure check (BP) * inspect chassis ("ok, drop'em") * check belts & hoses (feel for lumps) * test drive (reflexes) Done. 15-30 minutes, unless problems are identified. Check-up complete. See you in 6 months or 6,000 miles. [:)]

I don't know about a set list, but I am going through some things as my father died this past September from heart failure. Stress test Complete blood workup Testicle examination The only thing I have left is the stress test. Complete blood work was pricey, but well worth it.

Thanks. Most of that I get checked every 6 months for another condition. I have my own blood pressure machine. Guess the only thing I haven't had done to me is the * inspect chassis. Guess I shouldn't buy a larger strapon and install right before eh? rofl.

Sure, go ahead. A 4" lift kit will do wonders! Be sure to get the urethane bump stops for a long-lasting, firm and comfortable ride!! [;)]

Whatever you do, when he asks you to turn your head and cough, don't suddenly jerk back. Ouch!

Right, annual PSA test for fellers over 50 of course. For fellers over 40, Am. Cancer Soc. recommends an annual "digital rectal exam" [:O] [:O] [:O]. At least they don't use a speculum [shock] (though, after having one, you wouldn't be suprised if they did!)

The only thing to worry about during the *inspect chassis phase is that during the test he has both hands on your shoulders.

Insist upon the PSA, it saved my Dad's life. Karl

Damn doc, your ring was killin' me during the rectal exam. I don't wear a ring, that was my watch. When the doc says "bear down", don't overdo it.

Worst than that. Avoid any female doctor for your nad analysis who recently had the shortend of a divorce settlement or one that has just been cheated on by her mate. Double ouch!

If you ever get a hottie doc and want to make her smile (or puke), ask her to check your cremasteric reflex, or maybe look for anal wink. Ahhh, the joys of the physical exam!! LAter.

I had one two years ago and they sent me for a colonoscopy. They removed a bunch of polyps. Lucky for me they were not cancerous. I have to get another in 5 years. Better get it done, it was not much fun but.....
