So, what do ya tip your pizza guy NOW?!?!

I ask this becaus I deliver pizza on the weekends (I have 3 jobs) and I think I may just call off this weekend. We just started a $1 delivery charge that neither I as a driver or the store see; it goes to the corporate offices. @ $3 a gallon here (western pa) w/ over half of our local staions out of fuel saying they won't have any fro a week....

i deliver in a very wealthy subarb of Pittsburgh; these people will still be orering, but they are stiil cheap bastards (some of them). I would hate to be out of fuel wnd not be able to get any. Some of the gas staions that are out say they won't get any more for a week!

This is gonna get worse.

15%.

Don't most places, provider their own cars.. or atleast give the drivers money for their expense.

They charge $3.50 here for delivery - no tip from me.

I usually order over the phone and go pick it up myself anyways, just to save the 3.50

I only live two blocks from Dominos, so its not that big of a deal to pick it up myself.

FUEL SURCHARGE

$2 per pizza or rounded up 15% whichever is greater.

Nothing, I need money for gas.

I usually pick up my pizzas too.

I probably haven't had it delivered in over a year.

Woah! I'm from Pittsburgh and this is the first I'm hearing about stations running out of fuel! Thank god we've filled up all of our cars recently (the Izuzu last night for $1.61/gal with the GetGo discount no less!).

Speedracer, what part of the burgh are you from? I'm in Mt. Lebanon and shoot at the GPGC and Anthony Arms.-- And I tip well for pizza!

I haven't had a pizza delivered for at least 4 years.

Living in the sticks does that.

Pizza here sucks anyway.

The ONLY good pizza is NY sytle pizza.

When they deliver to my house, I will tip well. They don't deliver out into the sticks.

Guys, gasoline in PA is going AWAY...

My family owns a trucking business...

New Bethlehem, Clarion County, has all three stations out of gas.

The small town where our company is located has one station, across the street. It ran out yesterday.

Many diesel stops along interstate are limiting rigs to $50 - $75 per fill up.

Hold on, it's coming.

I round up to the nearest $5 mark , and he usually gets between $3 and $5 , and my orders are big.

If I only get 1 large pizza I'll usually tip $2. That's prolly around 15%-20%

well fuck it. I went inot work for 2.5 hours; made $4 in tips and spent almost $4 on gas.

I called off for the rest of the weekend; it just ain't worth it.
