Also, the college student with the M1a who joins later in the book. Then there is Dan? with the 50. I can identify with him because I just got a 50. |

Most of us definitely have "Dan Fong" characteristics; in particular, the desire to acquire more than the "group standard load-out" of guns. [:)]

Ok, yes, the book is, more or less, a survival FAQ that's had a story written around it. But you know what? Few people read survival FAQs, and lots of people will read novels.
It definitely contains far more than $15 worth of information, and, while not a great story, it was certainly readable. -Troy |

I lean more towards the "mutant cannibal looter" types that come along with the body parts in the wheelbarrow, except without the homosexual undertones, and I don't eat children.
KIDDING! [devil] Even though I've read the book three or four times, once aloud to Texaswife, I'm not sure I can remember any one of them well enough to answer the question. I can relate to the couple trying to get out of Chicago a little too late, since I'm in a big city, with few good evacuation routes. |
