I already posted in the CA HTF.
We are in town to attend the US Women's soccer team play at Candlestick tomorrow October 27th. I have never parked nor dealt with parking there during a game before. Any suggestions or helpful advice is welcome. Thanks.

Go early, at least for football. I doubt soccer would fill up the lots of an NFL stadium. Pay to get into the paved lots, rain on the dirt ones is bad. Go in from the Bayshore Freeway, not through town. That was bad 30 years ago coming in from China Basin, I doubt it has improved. Watch out for high tide ETA: Night game in candlestick is the coldest place on earth. Take a blanket and a big parka. Although mid October is the best weather there. Disclaimer, haven't been there in 20 years -- but it sure isn't any warmer |

We are getting ready to head up to Candlestick. It is still overcast in the South Bay.
Any last minute tips or advice? How much do they charge for beer at the park?

Seriously -- Parkas, wool stadium blankets and gloves.
Note the avatar Giant Logo has snow on it for a reason. You got that pin if you stayed for extra innings in a night game. 
ETA: Useless trivia fact for you for today. The owner of the Boston Red Sox (currently in the World Series) also owns Liverpool FC.
