Hi guys,

I have a Springer 1911 GI. and want to put a beavertail grip safety in it.  I want to stay with the parkerized look.  Does anyone know where I can get a parkerized beavertail that will fit a Springfield frame ????

Thanks

Careful.  I have a Mil-Spec and that spur hammer does not like most beavertail safties.  Just a warning.  You can find them that fit the frame, but the hammer won't cock.

I had to change the hammer so I could use a beavertail grip safety.  I have since changed evrything back to original parts.

ETA:

You can bob the stock hammer to avoid installing new guts..

Part #204 works really well.  I'm not sure if they come in parkarized.
