I've been investigating child discipline and came across "Parent Effectiveness Training" (P.E.T.) and noticed that it is very similar to some management training I've received.

It also seems like it would weaken decisiveness. How will a person make a quick, crucial decision when they are used to relying on a commitee? I want my child to be a decisive adult. "Large and in charge" as it were. A leader who does the right thing, not necessarily the popular thing.

What's your take on this?
