Honestly... I think this is hilarious. I don't know what is funnier though. The fact that vodka fueled Russians made a Donkey Parasail or the reaction by animal rights freaks who care more about animals than people.

Assuming the harness wasn't causing any undo discomfort, I don't see the cruelty here. I'm sure he was scared shitless, but he wasn't injured (that we see).
