I am on the nightshift this weekend...A female collegue in a town 40 km's south of where I work got killed in the line of work this night. She was working on a MVA victim on a highway when another car drove in on her and the patient. Both were killed on impact. Please keep her and her partner as well as this Paramedics family in your thoughts and always remember that no matter how much we take care of our own security we are vulnerable out there. Bas

I have prayed for her and her family. Please tell me it was truly an accident, and not a drunk driver. God Bless her. DA

Thanks for all the reactions... Yesterday she was buried, family requested that as many as could make it ambulances with personel made their presence. That request was met...our service took the flag halfpole and wore black ribbons on the antenna's. All in all very impressive Bas
