I believe it was the Temptations.
Between the Temps, Tops, and OJays, though, it gets kind of hard to tell the difference at times, though I love 'em all. That one, along with B.B. King's "Born Under a Bad Sign" are two of my favorite tunes. Semper Fi! Ken Little |

There is an excellent live cover of that song by Zero. They were led by guitarist Steve Kimock out the San Fran area. Serious jam band for DeadHeads.
