1961 Directed by Ray Miland

TSHTF from a nuclear attack upon major U.S. cities. Follows a family fleeing from L.A. in a chaotic society. No weenie yuppies like in Trigger Effect.

I remember seeing it ages ago.  Pretty good flick, Frankie Avalon does a decent job.  A couple of months ago I started checking E-Bay for a copy on tape.  Would you believe that it goes for $20-$50 a pop.  Weren't you the guy who had a friend with a sci-fi book shop?  It was printed in the Ace D series under the title "End of the World".

I liked how the dad took control of situations and not his whiny "oh don't hurt those thieving kids" wife like you see in most movies today.
