What kind of paint is everyone using to paint their ARs tan for the desert? Anyone know?

Duracoat seems to be the flavor of choice for a durable, professional finish.

I've seen guys use Krylon Camo paint, but it's not as tough or chemical resistant.

I've used Krylon OD with very good results.

Krylon on my shotty.

Surface prep is key for any paint.

And any paint will scratch up.

How does krylon react to breakfree and other solvents?  How about duracoat?

krylon wears off anywhere you touch but seems to hold up ok when exposed to cleaning chemicals, as long as it isn't an area that gets handeld too much.

I have no experience with duracoat.

I used bowflage on mine. Its fairly durable and if I want to remove it a little solvent does the trick.
