Is it safe to paint Audio CDs with Hobbie paint and not have it ruin a CD player?

My plan was to use hobby paint and camo the CD while tapping off the edge of the CD. Then use spray on polyurthane to coat it. will this hurt the CD? CD player ior is all good? any advice?

sorry for all the ???

I think you could safely paint a label and that would be the way to go.  Then apply it to the CD.  You could also use the printer to apply a cammo pattern to a CD label.

shouldn't be hard to find the patterns on the net, like this..

As long as there is not alot of dry paint dust flying off, no problems to the cd player.  the cd may have a shorter life though
