Is this a new thing? I don't like it at all. I know I'm a 14er and all, but If i have to look at this shit I'd like a refund on my membership. I'd be happy to lurk for free. Poor lifers.......

There aren't suppose to be any adds if you have a membership.
Adware in your browers? Somebody will come along who can internet harder than me to explain it. |

EDIT: Butt hurt welcome on this one. Yeah, I'm seeing that fucker post on everything. He always has the first and last word on every page. 
Edit: yeah the paid advertisements used to be inside the op, but I guess they switched it to something different as it looks like someone is posting a reply now. I don't see the ads cause I have adblocker. they just look like empty postings. I don't think team members see the ads though. |

In thread ads are limited to free accounts. It looks like they made a change to the way the ad is placed, instead of being right justified and fairly tall in the OP, it's now a separate block between the OP and the first reply.
If you're seeing something else you have a bug on your computer. If you're logged into a paid account and seeing the ad, then clear your cookies and try again. Free Account Example  |

I had turned adblock off for ar15.com because I don't mind seeing the gun industry links and ads. Heck, the only adds I ever have clicked on much less bought anything from were industry adds from ar15.com. This Google shit is to much though. Adblock on. Del-Ton, AIM, LaRue, Stag, I still love you all but I can;t suffer the Google adds any longer. |
