I haven't filled up lately (truck is wrecked and waiting to get fixed) but it's usually around $40 or $45 when I do. Of course, I usually have around $.80 off per gallon on my Get Go account Then there was that time I got gas right after Katrina, I put in $70 and I didn't even get a full tank.

It runs off of your Giant Eagle Advantage Card. The more you spend the more you get off gas. Only downside is you have to use a Get Go gas station.

And I think it might actually be called Git Go, but I'm not sure.....

Ford Expedition - 26 gal. tank

Ran $75.00 this weekend to fill her up......

Oh well, I at least don't drive that much.
Link Posted: 4/18/2006 7:08:22 PM EST
$0 - My company pays for all of my fuel.
Link Posted: 4/18/2006 7:20:56 PM EST
$8.50. I have been ridding the Harley to work and changing into work clothes when I get there. The Z71 likes to drink over $60 a week.
Link Posted: 4/18/2006 7:28:55 PM EST
since i've sold my truck, pump prices don't bother me so much. my most memorable fill-up was when i had to stop the pump at $100 dollars because i had no more money on me to put in it. Selling that things was a good decision.
Link Posted: 4/18/2006 7:39:32 PM EST
Brooksville, FL: $2.89 and rising... granted that it's not as bad as some areas within the US.

I paid $45 (and change) to fill up my Lexus ES300... and the tank was a little less than a 1/4. It should be a fuel efficient car; unfortunately, the way I drive, it's gone within a day or two.

What the hell is going on with the $$$? Oh wait... I think I know why... ***Shakes magic 8-Ball for answers***

Just spent $42.60 for 15.6 gallons into my 20 gallon tank a couple hours ago.

I MUST get a bike this summer.
Link Posted: 4/18/2006 7:46:15 PM EST
$33 to fill up a Sentra SER Spec-V. It only holds 10 gallons, but goes a long way on it, thank god.
Link Posted: 4/18/2006 7:47:22 PM EST
Suddenly, the fuel-effiecent ride I bought doesn't seem like such a bad choice.
Link Posted: 4/18/2006 7:49:00 PM EST
I never actually look at the price on purpose. I just pay the bill at the end of the month. Seems less depressing that way. Kind of one of those things that you just can't do anything about.
Link Posted: 4/18/2006 7:52:07 PM EST
$28, 16 gallon tank and it was a little over half empty.
Link Posted: 4/18/2006 8:17:30 PM EST
$3.15 or so around here. The S4 runs on 91 octane, totalled about $48 for 7/8ths of a tank two days ago.

NTM
Link Posted: 4/18/2006 8:19:09 PM EST
I never fill up when prices are up,because everytime i do it drops 20 cents the next day. Not alot of money but it still makes me sick.
Link Posted: 4/18/2006 8:29:06 PM EST

$122.00 last time I filled up.

WTF??!?!!!?!?

$4/gal! You'd think that in Alaska, with all that nice crude they've got flyin' up out of those wells, (killing innocent caribou, no doubt) that gas'd be cheaper than THAT!
Link Posted: 4/18/2006 10:31:18 PM EST
I need to get gas tomorrow. I'm figuring it will be about $30 for a little over 8 gallons to top off my tank. The 91 octane shit gas we get in CA is running in the $3.20 range around here.

Since I got my ticket I'm driving like a pussy to avoid attracting the cops' attention and that's helping me save a little bit on gas. That, and not to mention not driving unless I really have to for the same reason.

Link Posted: 4/18/2006 11:00:45 PM EST
Free bought a donkey.

My truck holds 26 gallons and at 2.90 a gallon it fells so nice.
Link Posted: 4/18/2006 11:02:28 PM EST
It's right around $35 to fill the legacy and about $85 to fill my van.

It sucks and all, but $100 bucks to drive around all week isn't going to kill me and I'm probably not even spending that. If I was just driving the legacy it probably wouldn't even run me $40.

43.00 in my Chrysler
45.00 in the Wifes Caravan
30.00 in the Sentra

I just added up my receipts for my three week vacation in Brazil.
At about $5.50 a gallon I spent about $300 to run my Dad's Blazer.

Not to mention the $8.00 per quart for the synthetic oil he uses.

ETA: Felt good to spend 'only' $30.00 to top off my jeep when I got back.
Link Posted: 4/19/2006 1:44:23 AM EST
$78 every two weeks. And that is just my truck, I have 3 other cars. My gas bill runs arounds 600 a month
Link Posted: 4/19/2006 1:47:53 AM EST
$28.00 for 9 gallons in my '89 SHO. It holds 18 but I only let it get down to about 1/2 a tank before I fill it up again.
Link Posted: 4/19/2006 1:50:13 AM EST
I think actually paying rent each month would make me come out ahead over the gas prices.. (and walking to work)
Link Posted: 4/19/2006 3:13:29 AM EST
$24.00 even, for just over 8 gallons.

This is the first time I've broken the $20.00 boundary since buying my new Prius.
But then, depending upon the outside temperature, I get anywhere from 48 to 54mpg.
Link Posted: 4/19/2006 3:16:02 AM EST
$66 in my 'rents Armada.
$48 in my Xterra,
$43 in my RX-7
Link Posted: 4/19/2006 3:17:18 AM EST
I'm still waiting on a loan approval before I can fill up
Link Posted: 4/19/2006 3:19:01 AM EST
Yesterday gas was 2.959 for reg unleaded and 3.199 for 91 for Mobil, the Shell station was the same price across the street.
Link Posted: 4/19/2006 3:23:18 AM EST
At $2.89 per gallon and a 33 gallon tank.

Link Posted: 4/19/2006 3:42:05 AM EST

Be grateful...

(Not paying for gas because I am not allowed to have a car here)

$28.+ for 9.5 gallons. $2.95/gallon for 87 octane.

Well, not today, but right after hurricane Katrina, gas was $3.17 here. I have a 38 gallon tank in the F150. That's right, $103.75 for a fill up.

If you can afford the BMW, you can afford the fuel.
Link Posted: 4/19/2006 5:20:56 AM EST
I normaly stop at about $50.00 = <1/2 tank. I stopped filling up a few years ago due to the weight.

1 gallon of gasoline equals about 6.0 lbs so a full tank adds close to 300lbs.

97 2500 Suburban = 44 gallon tank, the last fill up from empty was $113.00
Link Posted: 4/19/2006 5:22:29 AM EST
Not listed....$7.45 to fill a Kawasaki Vukcan

But my F150 is parked at home filled with Sta-bil added. That bad boy cost about $68 to fill both tanks.
