Well, I finally got back in country and picked up my AR180B last Saturday.  I don't know if I will get to fire it before I have to leave again, but here are some pictures with my original AR180s.

The 180B and my Sterling 180.

The 180B and my Sterling both scoped.  The 180B accepts all the original mounts and in this picture is has a B Square mount and Tasco scope I had been using on the Sterling.  It now belongs to the 180B.

This is all 4 180s together with the Howa and Costa Mesa folded and showing both sides.

These last two are of the buttstock.  Some had expressed concern that the buttstock was glued on, but as you can see, it is screwed on.  Others asked about storage space.  Well there it is.

The 180s look great Larry! Let us know how the newbie shoots. One thing though, I think you need more ball caps! [;)]

LARRYG,
the AR-180B looks right a home with the old crowd !!

The only civilian - bigyeti - (not a writer or reviewer) to receive and actually shoot his AR-180B that I know of, posted on the AR-10 AR-180 Forum:   "I just love the ugly little bugger......she's clean and accurate.......comes on target like a custom rifle and carries like an extension of your arm !"

Gentle people, I'm guessing the ArmaLite price of $650.00 retail will soon be moving up. Truly no information to support this guess but with a rifle this hot and at this price upward price movement is bound to happen.  And soon.

LG,
I know you'll post a shooting report when you remain in-country long enough.
Congratulations on your fine addition to the AR-180 family.
Tom

Took the 180B and the Sterling out today along with my Garands, EA15 20", 2 EA15 carbines, M1 Carbine, and bunch of other stuff.  The 180B and the Sterling both functioned flawlessly and the 180B was dead on, I didn't even have to adjust the sights.  About 1 MOA at 100 yds.  I fired a couple of mags each on both 180s as aimed fire and then ran about 3 mags each from the hip firing as fast as I could.  There is no range officer at this range to whine 'no rapid fire'.  The dust on the berm was flying.  Man it was a blast.  The 180B was literally smoking, burning off the oil from cleaning and the newness.  Bigyeti said that it comes to the shoulder like a custom rifle and boy is he right.  You bring it up and you are right on target.  It is a great rifle
