In the interview, Paul suggested the Republican Party could reform its brand by letting states have more control — particularly on marijuana policy.

I hope he runs- and wins.

I still maintain that by then it won't matter in the long run, though.

I'd vote for Rand in a second and be happy about doing it.

By 2016 Rand will have proven himself to be as looney as his old man

I like Rand Paul a lot. He's like Ron Paul with 75% less crazy.

Absolutely. We need to start pointing out that most of the shit being argued about at the Federal level shouldn't even be on the agenda at the Federal level. The Constitution is pretty explicit about what is their purvue, and 99% of this garbage ain't it.

Yeah.....hows that war on drugs working out for us? Real compatible with our enumerated rights, isn't it?
Did you know that we've spent over 1.5 trillion dollars fighting drugs and the rate of addiction is the same as before this stuff was even made illeagal?

At what point do we admit that we've been tilting at windmills?

I like Rand a lot (so far). I would definitely feel ok voting for him at this point.
Link Posted: 11/20/2012 6:34:12 PM EST
I am hoping he will unite the party and increase ACTUAL conservative and Libertarian-oriented values.

As it should be.

He would receive my vote as well.

If Rand or somebody better from a libertarian perspective isn't the frontrunner next cycle I'm going to go ahead and vote for Rick Santorum in the primary.
