Got my G17 barrel today.  Finish is nice, threads look good, and it dropped right in and cycles fine by hand.  Will try to shoot it this weekend.

Looking forward to some accuracy results.  I won't see mine until next Wednesday.

I went ahead and ordered a G17 & G19 both threaded, hope they turn out to be decent barrels.
I haven't been cheaping out on these two builds but the price for threaded barrels was worth rolling the dice.

As long as they fit in gun and cycle... that is the biggest issue.

For the money I dont expect a mach barrel, but they should be better than glock barrel.

The wife as I walked by with the wallet...."What gun parts are you ordering now?"

But I got my G19 threaded barrel for $ 53.19, free shipping...

My 19 and 22 barrels arrived today.  They look good, have clear, even rifling, and lockup nicely in both guns.  The 19 barrel had a little bit of friction when putting on a thread protector, but I'm going to attribute that to the threads being dry and maybe having a little finish buildup.  I applied some oil, and ran the thread protector on and off several times, and it smoothed right up.  The 22 barrel had no issues with the thread protector.

I want to go shoot them as soon as I can, but so far, I haven't found any issues.

I Just bought a 19 threaded barrel its going on a glock for my mom. Mainly got it for the price was planning on just throwing a thread protector on it but would it be retarded to put a flash hider on there? I dont think she would appreciate the extra noise and blast with a brake on there and since it will be a bedside indoor self defense weapon for her maybe the flash hider wouldnt be a bad idea?

Mine just shipped. Thanks a lot, @Bama-Shooter !

I've been working on a Roland special after I recently first saw your SHTF thread. It makes a lot of sense to have the most capable handgun possible for that situation when you can't OC a rifle. A lot of people wear hoodies year-round here, so I won't stick out in a crowd with a OWB carried Roland under a medium-weight garment, and it's a heck of a lot more capable than my normal CCW.

Now I just need a comp, a Six-second mount... and a holster that will fit this monstrosity!

I'd pick up a weaponlight to cover up muzzle flash (and for positive target ID)

Another positive report here. Got my G19 threaded barrel.

Threads are good, finish seems nice, no machining marks to speak of. I've hand cycled it a few dozen times. Feels as smooth as the factory barrel and lockup seems good. No ill effects to the finish as others have mentioned. Ran a snake through the bore and now it is nice and shiny.

I feel like I got my $50 worth unless it shoots patterns instead of groups...will report back after my next range trip.

Who’s got the most economical and effective brake for these things for a 19? Some people want $85+ for a mini brake?!

Got my threaded 23 barrel today. Fit, finish and threads were fine. Interestingly the hood of the barrel had the bevel on the front just like a 19 barrel. I doubt it changes function but it was an interesting note.

Got mine today threads are very nice I have no thread protector but I happen to have a 1/2x28 muzzle brake laying around to test it with.

Hopefully tomorrow I can test accuracy.

Brownells has RMR G19 slides for $179.99. IIRC there is code to get a discount.

Got to try my G17 barrel a little this morning, I shot a casual 5 round group at 25 yards to make sure nothing crazy happened like bullets keyholing before shooting with the Octane .45 on. Ended up with about a 4" group, so probably not any better or worse than stock so far in accuracy dept. (Bad eyesight and having 3 and 4 year old boys along this morning means this wasn't exactly an ideal evaluation! ) After that I put the Octane and on and just shot my steel targets from there on, and had no trouble getting hits out to 75 yards.

I noticed a few times the gun would fail to eject an empty during very rapid fire, but did fine in slower fire, but that could just be a dirty suppressor booster or maybe the Glock needs a different recoil spring, I've never shot it suppressed until today.

Why can't someone make a 9/16x24 for a Beretta 92

I think this needs a shorter suppressor.

Normally lives on a 9mm AR which is why I never bought a threaded G17 barrel.

Could be wrong not sure what type of barrel your ordered but a 40sw to 9mm is just not a g22 to g17 barrel swap. You have to have a 40-9 specific barrel. Also the proper extractor & ejector although I think you can get away with using the 40. It just will not be as reliable.

Got my g17 threaded barrel yesterday. Juat like everyone else is reporting, it has a nice fit and finish. Locks up nicer than my factory gen 2 barrel. Time to get suppressor sights and a booster for my hybrid suppressor.

I got out to shoot mine today as well.

Though you should always test your own pistol, the barrel ran 50 rounds of 147gr HST flawlessly. It also ran 147gr Lawman, which has a rather flat nose that I have seen hang up on other aftermarket Glock threaded barrels:

Picked up a BCA threaded 19 barrel for a spare, noticed the feed ramp is cut different from all my other 19 barrels. This has an even ramp - same width from top to bottom while my others are all flaired out at the base getting narrower at the chamber entrance. Good finish, threads are fine and it locks up tight.

Got mine today.  Threads and barrel look good, seems like a nice drop in fit.

My cheapo ebay thread protector fits on just fine, but looks like it will unscrew under fire.

Any trick to keeping those on?  O-ring, I guess.

Any reason to not get one of these for a G17 over a Silencerco or Storm Lake?

Have an Omega9k pending and need a threaded barrel.

I’d check bore concentricity if used for a suppressor. Baffle strikes are a bitch.

ETA - I’m in manufacturing. The key isn’t getting ONE out of a batch right it’s repeatability and consistency in the mfg process. I’d check them individually when you purchase and not rely on a single persons review of their own....not until there is a saturated amount of reviews would one assume anything. QC hand and eye checks are what make items more expensive (actually handling them off the machine). Most mfgs are running things for the same ballpark price. The correct steel, correct tool changes, the right print, a true QC process, and good customer service cost money...you have to pay people to do them. Could be a great product but does make you wonder why they are HALF the price of the CHEAPEST ones out there. Could be a good way to save some money if you get a good one.

Yesterday I shot about 150 rds of 124gr fmj Geco and 15rds Federal HST 147gr with no issues in the threaded G19 barrel.

I feel that it is at least as accurate as my factory barrel, possibly more so.

Just put together my polymer80 Glock 19 last night.

Bear Creek Barrel fits just fine and gun seems to function properly.

Have to head to range to see how it shoots.

Need to reload some 9mm ammo first.

I finally had a chance to get out and shoot mine today, ran both 147HST and 115 Wolf FMJ though my G19. I didn't have much time so only got to shoot about 300 rounds but didn't have any malfunctions unsuppressed. I'm not the best shot but couldn't tell a difference in accuracy between this barrel and the stock one.

My brother came along with me to play with his new form 1 9mm can, we shot about 150 of those rounds with it on my pistol. We had 4 FTEs during the first mag, but that's a big fairly heavy dual purpose can he built to use mainly on a 9mm AR. Didn't get any strikes or have any more malfunctions after the first 4 and accuracy didn't change much with it on.

No complaints here so far, for $60ish shipped I'm happy.

Finally got around to shooting mine (G17 threaded).  Loaded up a bunch of mags, headed to the range....and realized I left all the mags on the counter.

I did have one mag filled with 125gr +P Gold Dots, so I shot those.  Cycled just fine, accuracy seemed to be the same as the factory barrel.  For $50 I'd say it's a steal.
